Britney Spears Enters Rehabilitation for Substance Abuse Weeks Following DUI Arrest

Britney Spears has entered a rehabilitation facility to address substance abuse concerns.

She admitted herself a few days ago at a location within the United States. Insiders familiar with the situation informed TMZ that individuals close to the pop star had been encouraging her to seek treatment, and she ultimately consented to do so voluntarily.

According to one insider, "She recognizes that she has reached her lowest point."

Britney has struggled with drug use—specifically Adderall—and alcohol over an extended period. During numerous visits to Mexico, she made it a habit to restock her Adderall supply.

Sources reveal that a contributing factor to her decision to enter rehab now is her pending DUI case. One source stated, "She understands that this will reflect positively in court, demonstrating she is taking the matter seriously."

Britney was apprehended on March 4, 2026, in Ventura County, California, on suspicion of DUI.

We have been told that her sons and others close to her have been very supportive of her decision.

The rehabilitation program is scheduled for 30 days, but one source mentioned, "It’s uncertain; she might remain for a longer period."
