SZA Denies Claims She Was Compensated to Stay 'Coachella-Ready' as Backup for Bieber Cancellation

SZA is addressing and refuting rumors suggesting she is slated to perform at Coachella 2026.

The 36-year-old artist responded to an online claim alleging she was financially compensated to remain prepared to step in if Justin Bieber canceled his appearance.

“Lmao who made this up ? I’ve seen this 4 times now,” the singer of “Kill Bill” remarked in reply to the post spreading the rumor.

The Instagram post, circulated by Music Life and Blind Items, stated, “SZA Allegedly Paid Six Figures to Stay Coachella-Ready in Case Justin Bieber Dropoff.”

“I’m in New York no one paid me a dime. Wishing everyone the best ❤️” she added in her response.
