UPDATE: Tori Spelling Shares Statement Following California Car Accident Involving Seven Children [VIDEO]

Tori Spelling expressed her thankfulness after she and seven children sustained injuries in a severe car accident in Temecula, California, on April 2nd. The 52-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 star was driving with four of her own children along with three friends when another motorist allegedly ran a red light while speeding and collided with her vehicle.

"We are incredibly thankful and feel very fortunate, as the outcome could have been far worse," Spelling stated in an Instagram video. She recounted witnessing the other vehicle "coming full on, full impact" and quickly swerving left to reduce the risk to the children, which caused her car to spin out.

All eight individuals inside the car were taken to the hospital and treated for cuts, bruises, contusions, and concussions.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office confirmed that no arrests have been made so far, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Spelling also expressed her gratitude toward the first responders and hospital personnel for their assistance throughout the ordeal.
