Cher Discovered Son Elijah Blue Allman Fathered a 15-Year-Old Daughter with Julie Andrews' Step-Granddaughter Amidst Legal Dispute

In an interview dated April 19 with The Sun, Kayti Edwards — who is the step-granddaughter of Julie Andrews — revealed that she has a 15-year-old daughter named Ever with Elijah Blue Allman, the younger son of Cher.

Edwards, a former model now operating a horse rescue facility in Joshua Tree, California, shared with the publication that she became pregnant in 2010 during a brief romantic relationship with Allman. However, she stated that he has not been involved in their daughter's life because "he never wanted to be a parent."

According to Edwards, following a drug overdose in 2021, Allman confessed to his then estranged wife that he had fathered a child, which "started the rumors in the family." Nevertheless, it was not until the previous summer that Cher reached out to Edwards herself.

"Cher contacted me last June to ask if it was true, so I had to admit it," Edwards explained. "She mentioned hearing something about it from Elijah back in 2021 but wasn’t sure if it was just wild talk. When she learned the truth, she was left speechless."

Edwards further noted that Cher, now 79, is "still coming to terms with the news" but has gradually begun establishing a bond with her granddaughter Ever. In fact, Cher invited them to spend a night at her Malibu residence last September.

"She was warm and kind, and we shared dinner," Edwards recounted. "Cher asked Ever if she wanted to see her closet and showed her a pair of jeans she wore during a concert. It was a memorable experience for Ever. Cher was very playful. They swam in the pool, and Cher talked to Ever about school and even asked about boys."

Edwards also mentioned that Cher sent gifts to Ever for Christmas and her birthday and maintained communication on those occasions.

"Cher truly is making an effort. It’s an adjustment, and I’m not forcing any relationship. It has to develop naturally," Edwards said. "Elijah and his wife always claimed Cher didn’t want to be a grandmother and wanted to keep Ever away, so I was apprehensive about introducing her, but it has been nothing but a positive experience."
