Dax Shepard revealed in an interview with CNN that he initially “hated” the late actor Eric Dane and almost got into a physical altercation with him outside an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Shepard explained that the conflict started when Dane “threatened a younger member” during the meeting. “This had been simmering for a long time,” Shepard stated. “I said, ‘Let’s go. Outside. Right now.’” Despite this rocky beginning, the two eventually became friends.

Keith Morrison addressed Jasveen Sangha during her sentencing last week for providing the ketamine that led to Matthew Perry’s death. The Dateline correspondent, who was Perry's stepfather, spoke directly to Sangha, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison: "I feel bad for you. I don't hate you, I'm not angry at you. You're a drug dealer. The fact is you supplied an addict."

Universal Pictures is moving forward with a new Ride Along movie, with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart reportedly in talks to reprise their roles. Director Tim Story and producer Will Packer are also in negotiations to return to the project. Daniel Gold, who wrote the screenplay for the upcoming Amazon MGM film Tough Guys starring Will Ferrell and Ryan Gosling, has been tapped to write the script.

Caleb Ellsworth-Clark shared the pressure he felt taking on the role of Dewey in Hulu’s Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, noting that Erik Per Sullivan, the original Dewey, did not come back. “I grew up watching the show,” Ellsworth-Clark said. “I know that Dewey was a fan favorite... I guess I didn’t want to fu-k that up.” He added that everyone involved was “warm and welcoming.”

Dolly Martinez, known from TLC’s My 600-Lb. Life, has passed away at the age of 30. Her sister Lindsey Cooper described Martinez as someone whose “laughter, kindness, and loving spirit” illuminated every space she entered. Cooper also mentioned that Martinez had recently been hospitalized and requested prayers as her sister was “fighting for her life.” The cause of death has not been disclosed.

John Nolan, a seasoned actor and uncle to filmmaker Christopher Nolan, has died at 87. He appeared in several of Christopher Nolan’s films, including Batman Begins, The Dark Knight Rises, and Dunkirk, after making his debut in his nephew's 1998 film Following. Nolan was also recognized for his role as ex-MI6 agent John Greer on Person Of Interest and had numerous television credits.
