Knowles is the goalkeeper for the Ludington Orioles soccer team and was named a team captain in his senior year. He has been involved in soccer since early childhood, advancing from local recreational leagues to varsity competition. As goalkeeper, Knowles emphasizes communication, leadership, and providing a positive influence for his teammates, particularly helping underclassmen with work ethic and focus during the season.

The Orioles began their season with a rigorous conditioning program, including training at the local state park and beach. The team has set collective goals, including winning the West Michigan Conference and their district, as well as maintaining discipline on the field. Knowles noted the team was undefeated in conference play with an upcoming schedule of important matches.

In addition to his athletic commitments, Knowles maintains a high academic standard, with a reported GPA around 3.9. He is taking classes through Westshore and plans to continue his education there after graduation, potentially focusing on business studies.
