Khloé Kardashian Criticizes Lamar Odom for Undermining Her After Netflix Documentary

Published April 16, 2026

Khloé Kardashian has issued a response to Lamar Odom following the release of his Netflix documentary series, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, which delves into his near-fatal overdose in 2025 at a Las Vegas brothel.

Khloé features in the series, sharing insights about their marriage, subsequent divorce, and her role in caring for him after the overdose.

After the documentary premiered, Lamar challenged several of her statements, including the claim that his father, Joe Odom, had advised against placing him on life support—a notion Lamar said he could never imagine his father endorsing.

On her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, Khloé expressed frustration over the situation, revealing she had invested significant time into the documentary as a favor.

"What’s really upsetting me is that we completed this project, everything was fine. I was done with it. I told myself I wouldn’t do another Lamar-related project because I was at peace with it. But now Lamar is doing interviews, expressing annoyance with me, implying or outright stating that I’m dishonest, and discrediting my role in his recovery," she said, referencing Lamar’s early April appearance on the Today show where he attributed his recovery to God.

She continued, "I made sure this was going to be a positive portrayal. I didn’t want to take a negative approach because he’s already endured so much."

"Everyone assured me it would be a great, uplifting story. Lamar was the one initiating it and asking for it. I agreed to participate in the Netflix documentary for his sake. I didn’t receive any payment. I have no personal stake in this. Whether this documentary gets made or not is irrelevant to me. Honestly, it’s not something I want to discuss anymore," Khloé added.
