Queen Latifah Set to Host American Music Awards Again After 30 Years

Queen Latifah is slated to host the 2026 American Music Awards on May 25th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, marking her comeback to the event three decades after she co-hosted alongside Tom Jones and Lorrie Morgan in 1995.

The live broadcast will be available on CBS and Paramount+ on Memorial Day.

"I am thrilled to be returning to the American Music Awards stage as the host this year," Latifah expressed. "It has been an extraordinary year for music, and there is no better place to celebrate than Las Vegas."

Recently, Latifah was honored with the National Medals of Arts & Humanities and is currently working on her biographical film.
