Taylor Frankie Paul Seeks Temporary Restraining Order Against Former Partner Dakota Mortensen

Taylor Frankie Paul, known for her role on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, submitted a request for a temporary restraining order against her former boyfriend Dakota Mortensen in Salt Lake City District Court on Tuesday. This filing occurred just one hour prior to their scheduled hearing concerning Mortensen’s existing protection order against Paul. According to Paul's attorney, the restraining order request was filed very recently.

Paul claims that Mortensen has exhibited a "pattern of abusive behavior and coercive control."

Both legal actions arise from a February confrontation during which each party accused the other of domestic violence.

This conflict has caused significant disruption within reality television circles, prompting Hulu to suspend production on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and leading ABC to cancel Paul's forthcoming season of The Bachelorette.

Previously, Paul admitted guilt to aggravated assault related to a separate incident with Mortensen in February 2023 and is currently under probation that extends through August.
